Here's another 1 Minute Finger Tip for you to try.
See if you can beat Fearne's studio time of 58 seconds by using the timer which has popped up in a new browser window.
You'll need a piece of card, a pair of scissors, a cable tie, some stick glue and a plastic clothes peg.
So - limber up your Finger Tips and start the clock!
Start by folding the card longways.
| |
Then fold in half, like this.
Take the scissors and cut into the folded card, making the same shape you can see opposite.
| |
Unfold the cut down paper once - not fully!
Fold back two tabs in the middle, as you can see opposite, and dab some stick glue on.
Fold back the card behind the tabs on top of the original ones.
The glue should hold them together.
| |
Fold the card up again, then fold half over...
...on both sides.
| |
Open out and stick the plastic clothes peg in the centre.
Finally, stick the cable tie along the centre too, with some tape. Position it so that the looped part hangs off the back.
| |
Stop the clock!
You've made a Pegosaurus!
You can hook them onto anything - they bob up and down brilliantly.
| |
If you make more than one Pegosaurus, you can put a mobile together.
They'll hold messages...
| |
...or even dinosaur snacks!
