This 1 Minute Finger Tip needs only some modelling clay, a lolly stick, three cocktail sticks and a cork.
Remember to time yourself. Stephen's studio time was barely within the minute - surely you can do better than that?
Start by rolling some of the modelling clay into two same-size balls.
| |
Stick the rest of the modelling clay to the surface you're working on.
Break the lolly stick towards one end, and stick the larger piece into the modelling clay like this.
| |
Break one of the cocktail sticks in half and stick it into the middle of the cork.
Put the other two cocktail sticks at either side of the broken one.
You need to put them exactly in line!
| |
Stick the two balls of modelling clay to the full cocktail sticks.
Balance the cork with the cocktail sticks and modelling clay balls on the snapped lolly stick. Use the snapped cocktail stick and the jagged edge of the snapped lolly stick.
You've made a balancer.
Draw or paint a character of your choice, and separate the head from the body.
Stick the body piece into the modelling clay base of the balancer.
| |
Stick the head to the cork, and you get a nodding Christmas character!
