For this 1 Minute Finger Tip, you'll need a small plastic fruit box or punnet, three elastic bands, two barbecue sticks, a piece of plastic cut from a margarine tub lid, a hole punch and a pair of scissors.

See if you can beat Stephen's studio time.
Start by putting the elastic bands onto the fruit box or punnet - one at either end.
Stick the barbecue sticks down both sides of the fruit box or punnet, so that they're sandwiched between the outside edge of the box and the elastic bands.
Now punch a couple of holes into the piece of plastic. They need to be level.
Take another elastic band and thread it through both holes in the piece of plastic.
Add a little sticky tape to keep the elastic band in place.
Thread the elastic band on the piece of plastic over both barbecue sticks, and stop the clock!
Finished!

You've made a Mississippi Steamer.

Twist the piece of plastic and keep hold of it when it's well twisted up...
...place it in some water (a bath is ideal), let go of the plastic, and watch it go!
The plastic acts like a paddle, propelling the Mississippi Steamer forwards.
We've got a template here that you can print off and stick on if you like, to create a more authentic look for your Mississippi Steamer. Just click here to get it.
