If you love to skate but aren't as good as you'd like to be and often come home weary and bruised, this is the Fun Finger Tip for you - the Finger Board Skate Park!
It's the perfect place for trying out your favourite skate, BMX or scooter moves.
The Finger Board Skate Park is made from an assortment of empty boxes.

You can use any that you like. It's up to you, because you're the designer!
You can build on any flat surface, or a large piece of card.

If you're going to use card, paint it grey to look like concrete.

Make a small wall around the edge of the card by folding up three of the sides and sticking them in place.
Then create a small barrier along the front edge by using drinking straws connected together and stuck down onto the card.

The barrier will prevent your skateboard from flying off unexpectedly.
Now you can add your obstacles.

Vert wall...
...manual block...
...fun box...
...and remember you can glue boxes together or put them on their sides to give them extra height.
When you're happy with the positions, stick them down with plenty of glue.
When the glue has dried and the boxes are secure, add ramp transitions with pieces of card like this.
Now you can add detail.

Either paint, or cover the ramps with coloured paper or card.
You can add metal coping like this, if you like.

It's made from old pencils painted silver, mounted on empty party popper containers.
For extra safety, make fencing from lolly sticks stuck together and painted brown, with wooden detail drawn on using a black pen or marker.
Stick the fencing to the backs of the ramps.
Make extra coping from more pencils painted silver and stuck onto the tops of the ramps.
Give the park an outdoor feel with some model railway shrubs.

If you can't get those, pieces of old sponge painted in different shades of green work just as well!
Any other detail is entirely up to you. How about...
...extra fencing...
...and the coolest stickers you can find.
Draw on bolts and rivets with black pen to give the ramps a realistic effect!
Have fun!
