Check out these personalised Christmas cards - they look good, don't they?
To make one, start by finding an old Christmas card, and scanning it in.

If you haven't got a scanner, don't worry. Why not use one of our designs? Just click on the one you want. It will then open in a new window.

To save the design to your computer, click the right mouse button, choose "save as", and select the directory where you want to put it. You'll then be able to open the design up using other programs.

Now find a photograph of the person you want to feature on your card.

You could either scan one in, or use a digital camera if you have one.
Open up the card and photo in a paint program that allows you to adjust photos.

In the studio, Stephen and Fearne were using Adobe Photoshop but other paint programs have similar functions.
These steps apply to Adobe Photoshop.

Grab the circle selection tool...
...and drag this over the face of the person that you want to use.
Soften the edges by feathering...
...and drag the face over to the Christmas card. You may need to adjust to ensure a perfect fit.
You can also apply a spherical filter to create a bauble-like effect!
How about putting yourself and a friend on balloons?
Or Fearne on Rudolph's nose?
If you haven't got a paint program on your computer, you could try the same thing by cutting out a face from an old photograph or magazine and sticking it on a card, like this.
Or if you're a good artist, you could stick a photo on a card first, and then create a design around it.
