This great game is totally on target.
Throw your weighted balloons at the target...
...and clock up points according to where they land!
It looks fantastic, it's great to play and really simple to make.
| |
To make the game you need to get your finger tips on the largest piece of cardboard you can!
This is a massive bit - or you could use an opened out cardboard box.BR>
On the card, draw a huge circle.
Here's a great way to draw the circle. Attach a pen to a long piece of string.
At the other end, put a drawing pin. Push the drawing pin into the middle of the piece of card.
| |
Fully stretch the string and start to draw. Go all the way round to complete the circle.
Then cut the circle out.
Draw about 4 more circles as before, but shorten the string each time.
These will be the target rings!
| |
Next, get colourful and paint the target rings.
Keep going until it's all covered.
How about painting on an eye for the bullseye?
| |
Make the scores from cut out numbers.
The bullseye is the hardest to land on, so give that the highest score.
Put different scores on each of the coloured rings.
Lower the scores on each of the rings.
| |
The weights inside the balloons are just other balloons, with a little sand in them.
To get the sand in the balloons, first of all stretch the neck of a balloon onto a funnel.
Then tip in a little bit of sand.
| |
Remove the funnel and tie the balloon into a knot.
Stretch an empty balloon over the sand filled balloon.
Then you should just be able to push the sand filled balloon into the empty balloon.
| |
Half inflate the balloon and tie another knot in the top.
These present streamers look brilliant when the balloon is thrown through the air.
Tie some present ribbon around the top of the balloon.
| |
Run a ruler along the ribbon to give the streamers a twirl.
And that's it - so why not have a go at making a game of Finger Tips Balloony Bullseye.
